
Participatory General Assembly convened by ANCIPE – the National Intercultural and Plurinational Citizen Assembly of Ecuador

This First Great Convention aims to empower the functions of Citizen Assemblies, social organizations and citizens in general to influence public decisions and policies and social control of all levels of government, as well as public and private entities. that provide public services that affect the areas of Sovereignty of the Republic, Health and the Well-being of Ecuadorians.
THEMATIC OBJECTIVES
1) Empower in the knowledge and scope of human and constitutional rights regarding national and global health and well-being; and, the sovereignty of Ecuador.
2) Make known the Mechanisms of Citizen Participation and Social Control of Ecuador and ways to apply them to strengthen the health, well-being and sovereignty of the Republic.
3) Socialize with citizens in general, as well as the participants in Local Assemblies and Participating Organizations from different territories of the country about the situation in Ecuador and the world in terms of sovereignty, health and well-being.
4) Make known the socioeconomic, governmental and political conditions, at the national and global level that could generate vulnerability or put at risk the sovereignty of the Republic of Ecuador, its Health and Well-being.
5) Publicize national and international programs and initiatives, of a social and governmental nature dedicated to the restoration and strengthening of the Sovereignty of the Republic, Health and Well-being
6) Support current mechanisms and establish mechanisms for citizen participation and advocacy in the restoration and strengthening of the Sovereignty, Health and Well-being of the Republic, within the framework of public policies, programs and government projects at the local and national level
7) Generate citizen manifestos that compile the conclusions, recommendations and requirements agreed upon by the participants at the national level, which will be presented by ANCIPE, ALCCL, ALPCCS-PV to the different functions of the State and on 22 May in an audience with the president of the Republic
8) Establish and implement mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating the application and compliance with requests, requirements and notice of subsequent liability of said citizen manifestos, once delivered to public functions, to strengthen their impact on public policies, programs and government projects at the local and national level.
